So I met this lovely lady when I got married, Cassie was the second shooter for my wedding and I absolutely fell in love with her personality and style. Then, Michael came along and their chemistry and love for one another is so apparent, The Warmth Around You is such a fitting name for this sweet couple and the warm and fuzzies they give you on your big day!

Tell us about you!
Hi! We're Michael and Cassie Cardwell with The Warmth Around You. We're two wedding photographers who are passionate and focused on creating not only beautiful imagery for our couples but photographs that will stand the test of time. We were both photographers before we met (and that's actually how we met!) and between the both of us, we have over 16 years of experience photographing weddings. After finding each other in this crazy world, we were instantly inseparable. We joined our businesses to work together as full-time wedding photographers, and enjoy every moment of running our business together and doing what we love!
Our business name, 'The Warmth Around You' is the best way for us to describe the weight of emotion we hope to capture for the people that step in front of our cameras. Being in the wedding industry has taught us a lot about weddings, but getting married ourselves truly taught us how important the candid, natural moments of the day are. We live for the in-between, unscripted moments because we believe those moments are the ones that truly tell the story of your wedding day.
Our focus is on showing the connection between you and your loved ones. It's about genuine emotion, love, and that feeling of warmth and comfort when you are with the people that mean the most to you. Capturing that and documenting that feeling is our passion. So, a little about us? We like taking road trips together to new places. Hiking. Brunch. Lazy afternoons on the couch with our pups. We like kickin' butt at Mario Kart, developing film together, and playing Stardew Valley.
We LOVE the Grizzlies and basketball in general, and our absolute guilty pleasure is Love Island (It's on Hulu if you haven't seen it. And if you have, deffo feel free to pull me for a chat!) We are Memphis natives and love our city, but never pass up an opportunity to pack a bag and head out on the road! Far-Out Photobooths
Far Out Photobooth is our colorful, confetti-filled, glittery alter-ego. As wedding photographers, we would always see photo booths at weddings and think to ourselves, "we could make this so much cooler!" So we did! We wanted to break the mold of the cookie-cutter photobooth and create an experience for our couples to add to their reception that left a lasting impression on them and their guest! Another way to take home more photos from their wedding that feels like them and showcases everyone having FUN and partying, while also sending everyone home with a photo strip to remember the night and how it felt.
